With the development of microelectronics disciplines has now entered the "sub-micron-nanometer era." Piezoelectric ceramics in the art having the advantage, thus the research of piezoelectric ceramics performance and controller has become a hot spot. It has important meaning, narrowing our distance from the advanced countries in the world, promoting our precision instruments and precision machining level, enhancing the development of nano-technology.This paper analyzes the current situation of piezoelectric ceramic actuators Research, this paper introduces principle of piezoelectric ceramic actuators. Focus on the piezoelectric ceramic actuator voltage-displacement characteristics, force-displacement characteristics, hysteresis nonlinear modeling and other aspects of theoretical analysis, modeling and experimental studyFirstly, this paper describes the characteristics of piezoelectric ceramic actuators. Then we have tested PST150/7/80VS12piezoelectric ceramic actuator with lots of experiments. We have mainly analyzed the force-displacement characteristics, temperature characteristics, creep characteristics, the combination of theoretical analysis and experimental research, analyze various characteristics..Secondly,for piezoceramic actuator hysteresis, based on the modeling of preisach model and application linear interpolation method and BP neural network as the ways to implement the model, simulation and experimental study of the model.Thirdly, the drive voltage, preload arranged two-factor orthogonal experiment, and the measured displacement data using regression analysis, comparing various functions form the resulting regression equation for optimal different drive voltages, preload displacement of the mathematical model, and experimental verification.Finally, in order to achieve control of piezoelectric ceramics, the XE517secondary development of software for PC control software is designed to keep the original classical voltage controlled waveform and a single point of control functions. We have increased the functions of generating waveform at will and data visualization.
