| Wuhai city is rich in coal resources. It producs a large number of coal gangue in the coal mining and coal washing process. The spontaneous combustion of coal gangue accumulation becomes one of the urgent problems of Wuhai city. The technology of coal gangue sintered brick production is developed rapidly because it is mature and relatively low investment. According to the calculation of an annual output of16billion coal gangue sintered brick project, its sulfur dioxide emissions is2times more than a million tons of coke plant emissions of sulfur dioxide. The development of coal gangue sintered brick industry of Wuhai city is limited for the affecting of the regional environmental capacity constraints.According to the selection of coal sulfur retention mechanism of sulfur fixation agent, the best sulfur fixing scheme is proposed by experiment, and verified in the production line. The sulfur fixing agent is prepared with the CaO size of200and the Ca/S ratio of2:1for the coal gangue sintered brick raw material. Compared with no adding the sulfur fixing agent, the sulfur fixing agent prepared could increase the brick of sulfur fixation rate of82.6%, and reduce the sulfur dioxide emissions of71.5%. This method provides a feasible way for the utilization of coal gangue in Wuhai area. The contribution by this dissertation has important significance for the development of Wuhai coal gangue sintered brick industry. |
