This paper studies the effect of various experimental conditions on fluorescenceproperties of the following three arylboronic acids such as2-Naphthylboronic acid,9-Anthraceneboronic acid,6-Methoxynaphthalene-2-boronic acid. And some researches areconducted on the changes on fluorescence spectra and intensity of these arylboronic acidscombined with Sorbitol、D-Mannose、D-Fructose、D-Glutose under different experimentalconditions, which offered a guidance for the field of monosaccharides detected by using allthree of these aromatic boronic acids. The study is divided into two parts to present:Part1.An inspection has been adopted to study of fluorescence spectra and intensity of allthree of these aromatic boronic acids under different conditions such as solvent concentration, ionic strength, concentration and surfactant concentration. And the fluorescence quantumyields of these three aromatic boronic acids are measured respectively.Part2.The investigation has been conducted on the influence of fluorescence spectra andintensity of all three of these aromatic boronic acids which are bonded with the followingmonosaccharides such as Sorbitol, D-Mannose,D-Fructose,D-Glutose.The experimentalresults show that, the fluorescence intensity has varying degrees of enhancement under theconditions of different pHs. The experimental results demonstrate that2-Naphthylboronicacid indicates a good selectivity for Sorbitol in the pH of11,6-Methoxynaphthalene-2-boronicacid proves a high performance of Sorbitol under the pH of2.05,and9-Anthraceneboronicacid gives a reliable detection result for D-Glutose in the pH of3.03.
