| This thesis mainly studies the new thin layer chromatographic (TLC) stationary phase inthe application of thin-layer chromatography-infrared spectroscopy (TLC/FTIR) and TLCplate for some improvements of the late work. TLC is one of the most versatile and widelyused separation methods. But conventional TLC stationary phase, such as silica, etc in theinfrared region has a strong absorption signal, the great disturbance after the separation of themixture between groups of detection and analysis. FTIR is a universal detector and plays agreat role after the separation components detection, but it is very difficult for hybrid test.New stationary phase-silver iodide, in this paper studied the further application of it. Theexperimental results show that silver iodide as a new type stationary phase of TLC can notonly for colored material separated and infrared detection, as well as to colorless material. Inthe second chapter of the paper shows a new type of TLC stationary phase that infraredtransparent and do not absorb water, and its the elemental sulfur particles. For the XRD, FTIR,SEM test and analysis, experimental results show that using sublimed sulfur particles directlyas a new type stationary phase which the infrared transparent, the particle diameter of around50microns. In Addition, significant efforts have been made to control the size of the inorganicsalt particles to be around500nm. The reason is that decreasing the size of stationary phaseparticles alleviates the effect of light scattering so that the quality of the corresponding FTIRspectra can be improved.Aimed at the problems in the third chapter, by studying the different experimentpreparation, preparation of conform to the requirements of the experiments of elemental sulfurparticles are obtained. The ordinary TLC plate and the narrow-band TLC plate were preparedby sedimentation–volatile, at the same time a variety of paint mixing successful separationand infrared detection. Experimental results indicate that elemental sulfur particles as a newstationary phase has good potential in separation of mixture.The finally of this paper several improvements to conventional thin layer plate, andanalyzed its advantages and disadvantages. To improve separation effect and testing resultwith silver iodide, elemental sulfur as the new stationary phase of TLC plate and for itswidely application. |
