The Research In Construction Of New Type Of Ec Ological City Of Chengdu

As a new concept and measure systemthe construction of ecological city is gradually d eveloping.The construction of ecological city is a hot spot in the worldwide.each country a nd each region of the scholars are actively involved in this research and try to use the ecolog ical concept to guide urban construction and development.New ecological city is an ideal mode of urban ecological construction. Its characterise c is cordinated development of the urban environment ecosystem, economic ecosystem, soci al ecosystem, ecological system and traffic ecosystem. Both urban overall planning, new are a development, and the reconstruction of city land use can be reference for new ideas to buil d ecological city.In this paper, we adopt the method of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, and use the theories of regional economics, development economics, urban economics, urban p1anning and urban management to explore new type of the construction ecological city of C hengdu. New type of ecological city involves lots of areas and contents. Based on new city i dea,this article introduced the new type of ecological city theory mainly from the macro per spective and deepen understanding with the comparison of "the world modern garden city" t o that of Chengdu. We researched problems and advantages of constructing a new typy of e cological city in Chengdu and summarized experiences of building the new city for Chengd u. Then we proposed suggestions and strategies for the construction of new type of eco-city by learning experiences at home and abroad.
