The cross-section in the feed direction of the traditional cold roll forming is not changed. Aiming at market requirement, Section roll forming process cannot meet the processing requirement; the sheet metal parts with Variable Cross-Section can be processed by3D Roll Forming Machine. The method of flexible roll forming can be used for processing the parts such as Automobile bumpers and frame. The dynamic performance of3D Roll Forming Machine which runs long in batches processing is changed. There is a significant impact on the quality and accuracy of the machined work piece after time accumulation and error magnification, so we can use a measurement and analysis system to detect the dynamic property of the forming machine in time and be feedback to the control system timely. Then the accuracy and efficiency of the machined work piece can be improved after to adjustments of the forming machine.The article develops a measurement and analysis system of the dynamic performance for the control system of3D Roll Forming Machine. It can be used to collect dynamic characteristic parameters of the forming machine timely, analyze data by testing software, assess operating state of the forming machine in the current mode, and predict the trend in future. According to the dynamic characteristic of3D Roll Forming Machine, the article also makes functional analysis and functional module design for the measurement and analysis system.The overall scheme design of the measurement and analysis system includes the development and build of hardware systems, such as the build of sensors and Microcontrollers, and the configuration of data acquisition cards and host computers. It also includes the function partition of software parts and the design of functional modules.The article describes the development process and the key technologies of the measurement and analysis system for the dynamic performance of3D Roller Bend Forming Machine. It develops the measurement and analysis system based on windows enâ…„ronments and NI LabVIEW platforms, for example, using the database SQL Server2,000to store measurement data and manage it, transmitting data wirelessly by wireless ZigBee modules and communicating by serial ports and the database interface of the host computer. This paper tested the3D roll forming machine rotational speed and acceleration under the condition of processing of parts, analysis and frequency domain, the time domain signal.
