Recycling of water resource has become one of the most importment pathway toresolve the problem of water shortage. Flocculation technology is one of the ripertechnologys. Many researches have been brought about many kinds of flocculationstructures, but which structure is more suitable for large-scale water purification stillneeds validated theoretically. This research uses mechanical flocculation basin asobject of study, put Fluent software into use, takes advantage of the method ofhydromechanical to simulate the water flow states in flocculation, compares theresults of flocculate to realize the structure optimization of equipment, finally gets themost ideal structure, supplies theoretical foundation to improve the performance ofequipment. The job this article finally complete is:1. Carry on research of existing flocculate technology and equipment, then makefeasibility analysis;2. By means of the theoretical analysis of every part of this equipment, everyparts of water purifying plant will be designed, to realize the purification sewage;Relevant analysis of every part of the system is made. Aiming at independentdemands of subsystems, every part can be designed independently.3. Numerical model of flow fluid analysis of flocculate purification equipment isestablished. According to existing fluid simulation experiment and water basincondition involved, formula and characteristic parameter that benefits the analysis andcalculate were given; Then to analysis the boundary conditions, moving and quietareas setting and walls’ boundary conditions is included.4. According to the simulated analysis of several kinds of typical fluccolatestructure, distribution diagram of different parameter is got and can be analysised.Have analysis of round fluccolation、square fluccolation、flapper、second-layersyirring paddle.After assigning different numbers to every variable parameters,velocity、turbulent dissipation rate、turbulent kinetic energy are researched, so we canget flow fluid characteristic curve when the parameter changes.5. Parameters of different kind of fluccolation structure is compared andanalysised. Circle is incerted, then number of velocity、turbulent dissipation rate、turbulent kinetic energy are inserted, so we can get the changing rules of differentfluccolation structures. After compare the curve of, we can get the result of which structure is better. According to flow fluid simulation of different models, we can getoptimum structure model to realize structure optimization.
