Air plays an important role in rotor spinning.Flow characteristics of rotor spinning channelinfluences the process of fiber transfer,yarn spinning and joint behavior.This paper through aseries of numerical simulations to study on the rotor spinning flow state and its influence onthe joint behavior, to learn the yarn spinning mechanism and provide a reference forstructure optimization of spinning device.This paper takes RFRS10rotor spinning machine as the research object,establish the rotorflow field calculation model,use numerical simulation method to study the high speed、compressible、 turbulent flow characteristics of rotor, analysis the air flowcharacteristics.Analysis results show that there is negative pressure in rotor,air flow enter rotorthrough the fiber pipeline and the yarn guide pipe.Research on process of fiber transmission,and study the effects of fiber pipeline reductionratio,fiber pipeline angle,rotor speed,fiber pipeline entrance speed and the suction pressure ofrotor fan on air flow motion and properties of fiber pipeline.The results show that:the fiberpipeline flow has velocity gradient,and the speed increase towards outlet of fiber pipeline,thus making fiber straightness; with the pipeline reduction ratio increased from75/20to185/20,the velocity gradient increases obviously,and the speed of outlet of fiber pipeline alsoincrease; the rotor speed and angle of fiber pipeline have no effects; withthe fiber pipeline entrance velocity increased from30m/s to70m/s, the velocity offiber pipeline increases,but the distribution remains the same;with the increase of suctionpressure of rotor fan,fiber transmission static pressure is increased,but the speed and thedistribution rule of air flow is almost unchanged.Research on the motion of fiber during the fiber arrives the surface of rotor and theaccumulation groove,and study the effects of rotor speed on the motion of fiber in accumulationgroove.Results show that:fiber enter rotor through fiber pipeline,fiber arrives the surface ofrotor and move to accumulation groove immediately one hand,and move along the direction ofrotation of the rotor on the other;when air enter accumulation groove,the most part move along the direction of rotation of the rotor,the other move anti-direction,finally meet at a position inaccumulation groove,then move to the rotor center together;To monitor the speed of air inaccumulation groove,air reach maximum speed at the position of50°reached425m/s,and withthe angle increase the speed decrease,at the position of300°,the speed decrease rapidly,reached125m/s;When the rotor speed increases from50000rpm to150000rpm,the meetposition deviate from250°to300°.Research on the process of yarn guide,and study the effects of rotor speed and the suctionpressure of rotor fan on the process of yarn guide.Results show that:yarn enter the rotor throughthe guide pipe,and with the effect of air in rotor,the yarn move to the accumulation groove.Tomonitor the yarn guide pipe,in Y=15mm,the rotor air flow effect the yarn motion obviously;the rotor speed have no effects;the suction pressure increased from-2000Pa to-20000Pa,thespeed of guide pipe increase,and have a great influence in the interval of Y=0mm to Y=15mm;with the suction pressure increase the vortex increase at the section of Z=0mm....
