Flexible composite material has a relatively fast growth rate and a more extensive applications in the field of modern materials science. At present, the main research on flexible composite are PVC and polyurethane coated on polyester and glass fiber fabrics, and many more studies are mostly woven fabric. The study of the mechanical properties of tricot fabric reinforced flexible composites has not wide enough and lack a certain theoretical guidance. As tricot fabric is developing rapidly, we should accelerate its product standardization and systematization. The issue is a sub-topics of the material used in high-speed railway. With nylon tricot fabric study was based, and nylon woven fabric and polyester tricot fabric as a comparative test, series analysis from fabric performance and production to mechanical properties of materials.Papers selected nylon tricot fabric, nylon woven fabric and polyester tricot fabric to analysis. Analyzing the relative breaking strength and elongation at break. And considering the characteristics of elasticity, low elastic modulus, high strength and under the external force to deform easily, we know that due to the large elongation and elasticity features nylon tricot fabric more suitable compound with rubber colloidal.Research rubber coating process after select the fabric. Using orthogonal test, optimization of process parameters of rubber coated nylon tricot fabric by measuring the tensiling, tearing and bursting properties of reinforced rubber composites, then analysis the influence of hot pressing process parameters on the mechanical properties of materials. Tests showed that the rubber coating process, including the pressing time, pressing temperature and hot pressure have a certain degree impact on the mechanical properties of coated fabrics. Consolidated its three indicators the impact is: hot pressure> hot temperatures>pressing time. The best hot pressing process parameters are: pressing time is25min, pressing temperature is160℃,and hot pressure is9MPa. Under optimal conditions the tensiling strength:warp is913.5N, weft is103.05N. Tearing strength:warp is42.653N, weft is50.076N. Bursting strength is1563.2N. On the basis of the selected coating process, the paper analysis the tensile properties and tearing properties of nylon tricot reinforced rubber base, woven nylon reinforced rubber base and polyester tricot reinforced rubber base flexible composites. Analysis the changes in tensile strength and tearing strength retention ratio and changes in elongation at break, at last used the cross-sectional scanning electron watched the compound between fabric and rubber. On the tensile properties, the impact of the rubber coating process is mainly related to the structure of the fabric, rubber coating process for woven fabric does not enhance the role of breaking strength. For tricot fabric, rubber coating process increased the elongation at break, modulus of elasticity becomes large, showing the material a large strength, small deformation characteristics. On the tearing performance, rubber coating process enhanced tricot fabric tearing performance, while it lower the tearing strength of nylon woven fabric. Observed the cross-section of the material by scanning electron microscope,we can see a poor interfacial adhesion properties of rubber and fabric, and in the process of tearing the fabric and the rubber prone to delamination phenomena. Anylasis the tensile properties and tearing properties of the two tricot rehenced rubber composites,we know that tricot fabric is better then woven fabric compound with rubber and the mechanical stability and strength of nylon tricot fabric compound with rubber is better then polyester tricot fabric compound with rubber.
