Changing between solid and liquid of the materials is defined as that it’s a transformation from solid to fluid when it is affected by environmental factors. The research methods of this area are transited from solid mechanics to fluid mechanics. It is involved in Heat Transfer Theory, Engineering Thermodynamics, Molecular Dynamics, Rheology and Condensed Matter Theory etc. The mechanisms of changing between solid and liquid are analysed in rheology of rock metal melting polymer phase change and ice water melting four aspects. And it’s found that the more various of objects and environments, the more complex of mechanisms are. It’s a result due to multiphysics field coupling. So, it is important for us to deep research changing between solid and liquid of the materials. This work is suggested on that basis.Based on Fluent software, the transfer process of ice changing into flow is simulated. The transformation of the dynamic process of solid into flow is presented. The effects of temperature field on the melting rate is reflected. The heat conduction problems on the interface of ice and water is presented. Designing the experiment of ice into water, and comparing the experiment date process and simulation, a more effective explanation of solid-liquid conversion mechanism is gotten.
