As the source of wool fiber is limited, and the wool textile enterprises producedinferior wool and waste with rising, On one hand, we hope to have good wool alternativeraw materials, on the other hand, also want to change waste into treasure, this idea hasattracted the attention of all walks of life. Fibrosis regeneration of waste hair which is aneffective solution, is the keratin solution of waste hair was spinning reuse, the key pointis that the excellent solution spinning and spinning performance.This topic is based on the point of all this approach, using cytokeratin and polyvinylalcohol their blend solution as the research object, launches the research from threeaspects.Firstly,we use the rheometer test the rheological properties of the keratin/PVAblend solution,and examine the different molecular weight PVA, keratin/PVA differentratio, temperature on the rheological properties of the blend solution.Secondly, byobserving the extrusion processing and diffusion process, we find the impact the fiberextrudate swell and diffusion coefficient factors with the relationship between the spunfiber into yarn properties.Lastly, we observe the surface shape and cross-sectionmorphology of the blend fiber by scanning electron microscope,and conduct themechanical characterization, and then study the thermal stability of the fibers and thecomponent by thermal gravimetric analysis.The results show that: rheological test, When polyvinyl alcohol with low molecularweight, blending ratio of not more than3:7, coagulation bath temperature less than50degrees, the processability of keratin and polyvinyl alcohol solution can be good, goodspinning property.The spinning process, the spinneret diameter is0.1mm, spinningspeed not higher than80r/min, free elastic spinning solution can be fully restored, so wecan get the performance is relatively good fiber; The solidification process, has the verybig relations of solidification time and blend solution, also associated with thesolidification conditions, the higher the temperature of coagulation bath, the concentration of coagulation bath is small, the content of solid spinning solution is low, alarger D. Above, Keratin and polyvinyl alcohol solution spinning the best processconditions: a molecular weight of2099PVA, the blend ratio of1:9, the coagulation bathtemperature is50°, spinning speed is60r/min, the coagulation bath is saturatedammonium sulfate solution. At this time, the surface of the fiber structure, goodcompactness, good mechanical properties.
