The aspheric optical components are wildly used with the rapid development of modern optical system, and whether owned the machine to manufacture aspheric optical elements in line with the needs of the people is the crux of the issue. Based on the system at home and abroad were analyzed and summarized in this paper based on current situation of the develop of aspheric ultra-precision grinding machine tool,has developed a grinding accuracy is not greater than4micron of large-caliber optical aspheric ultra-precision grinding machine, This paper first introduces several commonly used methods of machining aspheric parts grinding mathematics.And then established the diamond wheel envelope method the mathematical model of grinding aspheric parts,and layout design of machine tool.Aspheric grinding based on geometric model, finding out the error sources affecting the machining accuracy,precision of machine tool drive components distribution.
