West-to-east gas pipeline project has created a golden historic opportunity for development of national manufacturing industry. Engineering construction needs lots of steels and packaging equipment. By making use of localized equipment and materials, second line engineering of west-to-esat gas pipeline project can promote development of related industries in China such as machinery, electronics, chemical industry, matellurgy, building materials and etc. which will supply a wide space for the delevepment of national manufacturing industry. If packaging equipment is introduced from overseas, it will not only cause a series of problems including difficulty of self-independent operation and maintenance, high cost of use, poor comprehensive economic benefit and so on, particularly, it will also make our national manufacturing industry lose an opportunity to become stronger in VChinese market, so that the backward national manufacturing industry will meet more difficulties on the way of its development in future. Therefore, it has far-reaching significance for using localized compressor unit in the second line engineering of west-to-east gas pipeline project. The key of the second line engineering of west-to-east gas pipeline project is gas transmission pipeline construction, the key of gas transmission pipeline construction is gas station and the core of gas station is the compressor unit. Gas station is located at remote areas and natural environment there is very poor, so requirements for automatic control system of the unit are very strict; the whole gas station is under unmanned operation mode, so all controls including loading, unloading, load-sharing and etc. are fully realized by automatic control system.The main content of the thesis is as follows:(1) Analyze the pipeline compressor structure and its working principle, describe its characteristics and monitoring requirements, and determine the control content.(2) Analyze the compressor structure, complete design of gas path system, lubrication oil system and dry gas seal system I/O list of the pipeline compressor and finish the general layout design of control system of the pipeline compressor.(3) Analyze process requirements of the gas station and design the load-sharing shceme of the compressor unit. (4) Analyze process requirements of the gas station and design the startup sequence logic of the compressor unit.(5) Analyze operation requirements of te gas station and design man-machine interface and complete the design scheme of the compressor unit.This paper describes instrumentation selection design, I/O list design, control system hardware design and program design of the instrument and control system of the pipeline compressor unit, and finally completes realization and testing of functions of the control system, which provides references for studying on control of pipeline compressor unit in further.
