Coal and gas outburst is a complex dynamic phenomena occurring in the coal miningprocess. It is a multidisciplinary theory based on mining science, rock mechanics and seepagemechanics. In-depth research of the mechanism of coal and gas outburst process is studied bytheoretical analysis and numerical simulation. In order to get the relationship between the basicparameters and environmental parameters in permeability changes of the coal and rock, and toget the whole process of CT images in the meso structure evolution of coal rock body, we shouldstudy the conditions and criteria of coal and gas outburst latency and the occurrence in the stageof percolation transition. Reveal the mechanism of coal and gas outburst percolation. Get themain research results are as follows:Introduce the structure features of coal pore and fracture. Analyze the classification of poresand fissures, research methods, the distribution of pore diameter and permeability associated. Toclarify the fractal characteristics of coal depend on the non-homogeneous distribution of poreand fissured. High-precision CT should also be used in scanning the occurrence anddevelopment process of coal pore and fracture, and analyzed the meso mechanism of coal andgas outburst.Analyze the situation of external force field when percolation occurs by numericalsimulation. We should study the gas flow velocity field under different porosity and regard thecoal and gas outburst as a mechanical process. FLAC-3D simulation face advancing force oftectonic coal structure, distribution of plastic zone as well as corresponding with the front of thecoal wall stress-strain. Explained from a macro perspective, the external force field of coalpercolation occurs. The COMSOL software of different gas pressure gradient, gas velocity fieldand the pressure in the case of different permeability distribution numerical simulation. Viewanalysis using percolation critical conditions to construct a coal gas outburst gestation process,for gas outburst start mechanism to provide an explanation.
