As one of the main equipment of fully mechanized coal mining face, the function of coalmining machine is to make the coal from the coal wall fall off and loading the falling coal to thescraper conveyer, its performance have a great influence on safety and effectively of coalproduction. As the coal mining machine’s working mechanism, cutting part in shearer loadsdirectly to the coal wall when it working, power consumption of cutting part occupies80%~90%of the whole machine, and it bear a larger load. Therefore if the transmission system of theshearer’s cutting part can transmits power safely and reliable is critical to the coal miningmachine which can work normal.In order to verify initial design of the transmission system of the coal mining machine’scutting part is correct and if it can meet the requirements of continuous work of long time, thisarticle studied the load simulation and strength analysis of the transmission system of theMG140/330—BWD coal mining machine’s cutting part.Accurate load is the basis of strength analysis of parts. So in this thesis, firstly, transmitparts in2D drawings to the three-dimensional model by using PRO/E, after assemble all theparts into the system, implement motion analysis and interference checking to ensure theaccuracy of the model; then simulate the actual load of coal mining machine’s cutting part byusing MATLAB, deduced the force of each part of transmission system, provides accurate loadfor strength analysis of the transmission system of the coal mining machine’s cutting part.On the basis of the above, using the ANSYS software to analyze each part of thetransmission system of shearer’s cutting part with finite element analysis, and to the heavycomponents--planetary frame and sun wheel, conduct fatigue analysis.Analysis results show that the stress of parts is much smaller than the allowable stress ofmaterial, can meet the requirements, the fatigue analysis results of planet carrier and sun wheelshow that the fatigue life can meet the requirement. Verify initial design of the transmissionsystem of the coal mining machine’s cutting part is correct, proof that parts failure in actual workis not caused by the initial design error of part, it maybe caused by the fast traction speed or thevibration in work, May also be the coal mining machine model and coal seam conditions do notmatch, concretely reason needs further studies; And because under normal operating conditionsthe strength of the parts have excessive surplus, after the removal of coal mining machine failure, cutting transmission system have the optimized space, the conclusion of this paper provides atheoretical basis for its further optimization design.
