Grouting is a mean method of controlling water bursting (dripping). Grouting engineeringused to ignore the research of hydrogeololgy. It’s lack of pertinence to grout blindly. When comeacross deep and large scale fault fracture zone or the underground karst flow zone or even karstcave, the effect might not very obvious even if lots of grouting material is used.Electrical prospecting has characteristics of low cost, fast speed and high sensitivity. It hasvery good application prospect in hydro-geological investigation. Subsidized by "The ultra deepshaft grouting water plugging key technology research projects" and supported by "The researchof Bird Mountain coal mine shaft comprehensive grouting technology", which is aschool-enterprise cooperation project, the thesis does research on the application of electricalmethod on deep mine groundwater exploration, using a method of combining engineeringapplication and theory analysis. Take the air shaft and auxiliary shaft of Bird Mountain coalmine as an example, use different prospecting methods to survey the two vertical shaft. Then thedetection data is interpreted and the geologic feature is checked, and the location of main aquiferand the type, distribution and interrelation of underground water are illustrated. So it can directthe making of grouting scheme. And also the purposes of serving the construction andproduction of mines in the mining area are achieved. In this application, the exploration of airshaft groundwater uses induced polarization method and the exploration of auxiliary shaftgroundwater takes a comprehensive prospecting method of mine transient electromagneticmethod and natural electromagnetic SYT method. The three methods have respectivecharacteristics. Study a lot of precious materials about the geographical structure and theregularity study of Hegang coal field and Bird Mountain mining area before the explorationwork. This is the basis of the interpretation of later geographical results.It has been proved that electrical method is of higher sensitivity and stronger practicality inthe exploration of deep mine groundwater. In combination with the geological structure featuresof testing zone, the interpretation results of detection outcome show an acceptable agreementwith the computed result, which provides reliable geological basis for mining waterproof work.
