Composite materials7A52/Ti not only owns the properties of low density, high strength and good welding like7A52but also high temperature resistant, corrosion resistant and impact resistant like titanium. It can improve the material’s performance and lower the cost. All in all, it can be used in the fields such as National Defense, Aerospace, Auto and Ship.According to the research on the composite mechanism of double metals and key issues of bond adhesion, the hot rolling process of7A52/Ti composite sheets under the different temperature and reduction are studied by using plastic FEM software DEFORM-3D.. And after the simulation we got the results as follows:(1)Ti/Al hot rolling mechanism is combined with Split Mechanism Chimerical mechanism. Its special characteristic is that the fresh metal of aluminum is squeezed into the gap of titanium to make the bonding points and realize compositing in single-track.(2)The bonding model of Ti/Al hot rolling composite is confirmed, A is determined as a specific value which equals normal pressure on the interface of titanium ratios the resistance deformation of titanium, the sheets are considered bonding if A>1. The experiment results suits the simulation very well.(3) Through the results of the FEM model, the characteristics of the Ti/Al hot rolling process is as follows:the titanium takes on larger stress, while the aluminum and7A52takes on larger deformation; in the deformation area The temperature of the aluminum raised sharply, while the temperature of the titanium raised only a little bit; Ti/Al hot rolling process exists rubbing and rolling zone obviously.(4) Comparing with the simulation results and experimental results, the optimize process parameters of Ti/7A52hot-rolling sheets are listed as follows:When rolling temperature at300℃and deformation rate at60%, the tensile shear strength is strongest.(5) Through the simulation of the model of large size sheets, the optimize parameters on the rolling bonding process of4mm titanium and46mm7A52aluminum alloys is rolling temperature350℃, deformation60%.the rolling mill should at least give the sheets more than1.5×107N rolling force.
