The great amount of SO2and NOx in FCC regenerated flue gas are the main contributors of local SO2and NOx emission. Besides, there are a great deal of inhalable particles (PM10). With the continuous proportion increase of sour crude and heavy crude processed in refining industry, the recent years have witnessed a constantly increasing tendency of SO2, NOx and PM10in FCC regenerated flue gas which couldn’t meet the ever increasing strict environmental requirement. It is imperative to take effective measures to reduce FCC regenerated flue gas pollutant emission, meanwhile, it is necessary to purify FCC regenerated flue gas.In this paper, three technologies frequently used domestic and overseas are studied, including SO2Purification Technology, PM10Purification Technology and NOx Purification Technology for improving FCC flue gas; consequently, their pros and cons are listed respectively. In addition, commercial applications of EDV Flue Gas Wet Scrubbing Technology in Guangdong Company, Sinopec and SCR Selective Catalytic Reduction Denitrification Technology and LoTOxTM Low Temperature Oxidation Denitrification Technology both used in Catalytic Cracking Units of Zhenhai Company and Shanghai Company, Sinopec are studied here and through the comparison, the purification solution treating flue gas of No.3Catalytic Cracking Unit in Gaoqiao Company, Sinopec is determined: EDV Wet Scrubbing Technology is used for desulfurization and dust removal section,30%NaOH Solution is selected as desulfurization absorbent, Filtration+Dewatering+Oxidation Process jointly developed by Ningbo Engineering Company, Sinopec and Zhejiang Shuangyu Industrial Corporation is applied for waste water treating section and LoTOxTM Technology is adopted for denitrification section.
