Waste-liquor generated from traditional chemical pulping industry needs a high cost ofprocessing equipment. This processing of liquid-waste cause a lot of waste of by-productlignin. Ethanol pulping due to not use other chemicals and easy to recycling and utilizationthe alcohol and lignin are of great concern.The composition of waste-liquor of aspen auto-catalyzed ethanol-water pulp is verycomplex. Mainly contains large amounts of lignin, ethanol, water and a small amount offurfural, acetic acid, formic acid, carbohydrate and other components. Ethanol and lignin inthe waste-liquor is easy to recycle. If it can separate and recycle the furfural, formic acid,acetic acid and other little components from the waste-liquor of aspen auto-catalyzedethanol-water pulp,it will be not only the effective method in liquor treatment,but also theeffective utilization of little components. It will be a good sense.This paper mainly use modern separation methods to analyse the furfural, formic acid,acetic acid and other little components from the waste-liquor of aspen auto-catalyzedethanol-water pulp. Boiling with boiling liquid of60%ethanol solution and60g dry aspenwood chip reacted in boiling equipment. Boiling condition are as liquid ratio1:10, holdingtemperature205℃,and holding time2.5hours. Add the water with the same volume to thewaste-liquor of aspen auto-catalyzed ethanol-water pulp in order to separate lignin. Thenextract the organic with aether and put the extract to the GC Chromatography. The resultsshow that: the composition of waste is very complex and trace, mainly with a number of acids,esters and other low molecular weight lignin and so on. Acetic acid and formic acid are morethan other material such as furfural, ethyl acetate, phenol and so on.This thesis analyse the organic acids in the waste-liquor of aspen auto-catalyzedethanol-water pulp. Firstly,separate lignin with the method of vacuum distillation. Then usethe bromine thymol blue as the indicator and titrate the waste liquid with NaOH solution.Finally measure the total acid content is0.043mol/L. According to the results of GC—MSchromatography, detect the organic acids with the optimism capillary column OV1701. The volume of formic acid concentration is0.6407mL/L, equivalent to the original liquid contentof0.6384g/L; the volume of acetic acid concentration is1.8127mL/L, equivalent to theoriginal liquid content1.7889g/L.This thesis color deal with ethyl acetate by the theory of qualitative analysis. Use the UV-visible spectrophotometry to establish the color material in the absorbance at530nm with alinear relationship between the concentration of ethyl acetate to quantitatively measure theconcentration of ethyl acetate. The determination of concentration by volume of ethyl acetateis2.14mL/L, equivalent to the original liquid content is1.8489g/L.The paper quantitative determine the furfural by gas liquid chromatography in theexternal standard method. Obtain the volume concentration of furfural is0.9741mL/L,equivalent to the original liquid content is1.0576g/L.The paper determine the carbohydrates of waste-liquor of aspen auto-catalyzedethanol-water pulp after deal with the liquor with the method of sugar trimethylsilyl ether.The paper get the peak time of a variety of carbohydrates is in14min~20min from the wasteliquid samples chromatograms. The peak time of internal standard is17.265min. And thewaste samples peak time of various carbohydrate are14.723min,16.157min,17.511min,18.057min,18.758min. According to the detected peak time of standard sugars and the order,it can be inferred that the liquid sample containing the carbohydrates are glucose, xylose,mannose, galactose, arabinose.This paper mainly use modern separation and analysis methods to analyse the littlecomponent in the waste-liquor of aspen auto-catalyzed ethanol-water pulp.
