In this dissertation, we will mainly study the applications of quality assessmentof the anticorrosion coating, locating its defective spot and other additionalassessments. It will contain the pipeline locating (location and depth), the electricpotential of cathode protection, the quality assessment&defective spot locating ofanticorrosion coating, and the assessment of soil causticity and stray current.For the quality assessment of anticorrosion coating, we will introduce the methodof electric potential gap, the method of the current inside the pipeline, and the methodof adjusting&switching frequency etc.; For the defective spot locating ofanticorrosion coating, we mainly will introduce the method of ACVG(or Pearson),CIPS, and DCVG etc..During this test, we mainly use the simulating current on theground by PCM+for the quality assessment of anticorrosion coating. Then we inputthe data into ESTEC, and the insulating resistant rate of each part will be calculatedout through the slope. And we will also classify and conclude the answers. We willlocate the defective spot of anticorrosion coating by PCM+and DCVG, meaning tolocate the defective spot within a large scale and locate precisely by DCVG asfollows.The pipeline locating will use PCM+and PL960to test the location and thedepth. We finished the curve figures for the location and the depth according to thepipeline length. We also drew the map of the pipeline by AutoCAD, and in addition,we pointed out the conclusion and transforming advices according to the standard.The assessment of soil resistant rate will use CMS-140A and the electrolytic weightloss method to test the soil resistant rate and the redox electric potentials etc. Andpoint out the conclusion of assessment according to the standards. The stray currentassessment will use SCM-200B, and point out the conclusion of assessment accordingto the standards.
