Use of the digital Ultrasonic flaw detector to study some defects in the No.45carbon steel forgings, The No.45carbon steel artificial simulation of defects to be made in the experimental workshop, study of the white spots, the cracks, the inclusions typical defects when the reflective ultrasonic testing of the a-mode pulse-echo curve characteristics of the defect echo curve characteristics to determine the nature of the analysis. The results show that the analysis of the electronic signal of the echo curve of known defects and envelope lines, white spot, center, forging cracks, horizontal within the crack, longitudinal crack, single slag and dispersion of inclusions defects ultrasonic testing when the echo curve uniform has its own characteristics, and by observing the curve characteristics and dynamic description of the testing process can initially determine the nature of the defect type.
