| Along with the human engineering activities, more and more complex and big rock mass slope engineering is becoming more and more frequent that human will face. The stability of rock slope is influenced by lots of complex factors, so there are so many uncertain factors or unknown factors involving a particular issue within maintaining slope stability. On the basis of fully understanding on geological conditions, utilizing some techniques and calculation methods to evaluate the stability of slope, and at last proposing slope treatment measures and schemes which are reasonable, economical and effective is an extremely significant work.Combined with the practical situation of somewhere in Zhuji city, the factors that influenced the rock slope stability were discussed overall. The slope was evaluated by several traditional measures, and MIDAS/GTS finite element software was employed to verify the validation of measures that were carried on in the project. The main research content and working were as follows:(1) Many factors(including geology, geomorphology, hydro geological conditions and external environment conditions)was discussed first. The present most used analyzing approaches were overviewed, and their merits and disadvantages were discussed as well.(2) According to the slope current situation and practical condition, the engineering geological conditions and hydro geological conditions were illustrated.(3) Several treatments was de.signed for those slopes within the project, including decreasing loading on slopes, building retaining walls and planting trees and so on.(4) Two dimensional model of slope was established by employing the finite software MIDAS/GTS to simulate the stability of slope which were already treated by engineers, in order to verify the reasonable measures. |
