Microwave heating, a form of dielectric heating, is understood as the generation of heat inmaterials of low electrical conductivity by the action of a high-frequency electric field. It ischaracterized in uniform heating, low cost, and short processing time ’ energyeconomization&high-efficiency, environmental protection. In comparison with conventionalprocesses, sintering time significantly shortened, energy consumption can be reduced by50~70%and improve performance.Recently, the breeding and processing of shells is the important part of the inshoreeconomy. Shellfish contaminated coastal areas has become urgent to solve environmentalproblems. According to analysis, the element of shells comprise90%CaCO3and someZn,P,Si,etc. But not fully utilized, normally be thrown away as waste, and often abandonedshells are piling up and the pollution of the environment has become increasingly serious.Domestic use of feed additives shellfish processing, not only the amount of less, but alsovalue-added products is not high. Compared with foreign countries, China’s development ofshellfish study has just begun.Based on theory of the microwave high-temperatures and high-temperature heatingequipment research’shells for the characteristics of pyrolysis’development of the continuoushigh temperature microwave heating equipment to meet a sintering characteristics of shellfish.By calciming shell and decomposing CaCO3that is major composition of shell, use dual firemethod to produce bright white calcium oxide with high purity higher than95%. Grain size ofthe calcium oxide is about600to1200mesh that can be widely used in bactericide, pharmacy,foodstuff and fine chemical industry. The shortcoming in multimode microwave sinteringfurnace is remedied by means of rational choice and fixing of microwave tube and specialdesign of microwave field type. Through these ways, not only do we get a good sinteringresult, but also reduce the cost. Special structure of the insulator can reduce energy cost, andexpand the scope of microwave sintering furnace’s application.The article outlines the high-temperature microwave heating equipment for a variety ofheating, sintering experiments, verify the reliability of technology and equipment for deep-processing products are well prepared.
