With the continuous development of economy and industry, the production of largeNumbers of industrial wastewater, and the amount of pollutants into the environmentincreased gradually. Although in recent years, countries increasing sewage disposalinvestment, but the water environmental quality current situation still not optimistic in ourcountry, the water pollution trend in the short term is difficult to get significantimprovement. Face the grim problem of water pollution, China’s urban sewage treatmentplant sewage discharge standard has been further promoted, most sewage treatment planthas completed the DiBiao transformation task. But improve the sewage treatment plantdischarge water quality, not only in the secondary effluent of municipal sewage treatmentplant based on simple series deep processing units, the comprehensive study of existingurban sewage regeneration process has a long process, unit match is not reasonable, highinvestment and operating cost. In view of this, through the analysis of the chronologicaland spatial sequence of simultaneous denitrification and dephosphorization process,combining with the characteristics of AB method and the SBR method, developed theOAO-SBR process deep purification new city life sewage, and make out. This experimentbased on the AB method, will parallel SBR pool instead of AB method of the second pond,the formation of embedded combination. Test equipment is composed of two parts, the firstpart of the aeration unit in turn, hydrolysis acidification unit, secondary aeration unit inseries, the second part into two parallel SBR, the second part is connected with the firstpart in series again to form a complete water treatment system. And after a variety ofoperation mode that is combinated, aerobic, anaerobic, or anoxia is alternated, it is realizedthat the sewage water of the city will be concentrated being treated and recycling, and wehope that it is able to cope with the change of that the sewage becomes complicated andthat the concentration is turned higher, and the sludge yield will be reduced, achieving thatit is reduced the covering area when it attains the same degree of processing, and strive toachieve that urban sewage and even high concentration organic wastewater can be treatedin a emissions with a high standard.The urban sewage, which the expetiment is selected as the research object, is dividedin two stages. The first phase, it is the active sludge culture and domestication in secture, aswell as it is started with the test equipment. According to results of the detection ofbiological and the monitoring information of the water quality, it is adjusted the parameters,such as water inflow, pH value, HRT, aeration rate, and many other operation parameters,finally, completing the sludge cultivation. Determinating the suitable range of dissolvedoxygen in different units of aeration treatment wthen the opetation is in normal. Thesecond phase, the controlling variable method is used to control the experiementequipment, analyzing the experimental results with a single variable effect.It is analysed that how is the treatment effect variable when the parameters, such aspollutant load, temperature, HRT, the DO of the parallel SBR,change, while, keeping otherexperiment conditions unchanged.From the results, it is contrasted the characteristics of theOAO—SBR process, the AB process, SBR process with the technical and environmentalanalysis angle, the three kinds of processes are distinctive in the treament effect, operationand management, applicability, and the environmental impact. While the advantage ofOAO—SBR process is more obvious, the treatment effect with a combination of space andtime is more significant, operation and management is more convenient, applicability andflexibility is stronger.Studies have shown that the new process of OAO—SBR with an ability of deeppurification in sewage water can be accomplished an efficient removal of CODcr, NH4+-Nand TP. And the operation mode of the process is consistent with the traditional way. Through multiple backflow as well as a variety of anaerobic, anoxia or aerobic, it has moreobvious advantages compared with the traditional tertiary wastewater treatment process.This new process has such features as small floor area, convenient operation, strongerability for resisting shock load, stable efficiency and simultaneous nitrogen and phosphorusremoval, etc. This technology can be widely used in the treatment of urban domesticsewage and even the treatment of high concentration organic wastewater.
