The up-conversion luminescence material of rare earth doped on fluoride have been widespreadly concerned, because of its unique low phonon energy, long fluorescence lifetime, high reflectivity, etc. In this paper, we prepare the PbF2:Er3+, Yb3+luminescence materials co-doped Er3+/Yb3+and composite up-conversion luminescence materials of lead fluoride. We also discuss the factors of which have influences on the characteristics. The results show that the materials in the1064nm laser excitation, get a bright green light. And also they are concluded that the best preparation process conditions are: the doping mole ratio of Er3+/Yb3+ions is1:9, the reaction temperature is200℃, annealing temperature is550℃, the dosage of the NaF is0.008mol. In the composite up-conversion luminescence of lead fluoride materials, when the doping amount of Ba2+ions is20%, the luminous intensity is the biggest of the barium lead fluoride up-conversion luminescence materials; when the doping amount of La3+ions is4%, the luminous intensity is the biggest of the Lanthanum lead fluoride up-conversion luminescence materials.
