Coal and rocks are broken down by mechanical system of roadheader mainly inunderground coal laneway excavation. Due to the complex working environment and thedifferent properties of coal that lead to the excitation from outside or inside of theworking device,the improvement of roadheader cutting capacity is needed.When theroadheader works with lower cutting power and harder mining coal,the impactive loadwill affect the reliability and stability of roadheader,some key components will bedamaged because of the overload,so the study of the roadheader dynamic characteristicsis necessary.Take a certain type of roadheader as the research object,the kinematics analysisstarts based on model structure and parameters,the modal neutral files of key parts areestablished,the instantaneous load applying to the cutting head in different conditions iscalculated,loading to the rigid-flexible coupled virtual prototype model to obtain itsreliability.The results show:the kinematics analysis results are in line with thetheoretical calculations.When the cutting head working from left to right on the bottomof the laneway,the gyration platform bears the largest stress of the four conditions.Thedistortion trends of key components are obtained through mode analysis.The load data isextracted by dynamic simulation before the fatigue life analysis,the results ofoptimization design to the gyration platform meet the objectives.The cost of newproduct development is reduced, the simulation provides a feasible research method forthe reliability improvement and the structure design of engineering machines that workin complex working environment.
