Mobile refuge chamber is a kind of hedging devices which through a hoisting, traction and other ways to implement mobile, to meet the operational requirements of the underground mining. There are three doors on the mobile refuge chamber:the first door is blast airtight door to open outwards, the second door is airtight door and the third door is the escape door is used to emergency escape. These three doors are key components of the chamber, therefore, ensuring the doors’ sealing, shock resistance capability and heat-shielding performance has become the focuses of the research.Firstly, this paper finishes the improvement design of the chamber doors’ structure, on the basis of KJYF-96coal mine mobile refuge chamber. The structure of doors and their components be preliminary designed, according to the application environment and requirements of the refuge chamber, and also reference to the cabin door structure has produced; then through the traditional calculation, the shape and size of three doors structure are determined initially, the transmission mechanism and the type of locking mechanism are defined, also the theoretical value of the driving force and locking force is solved; highlighting the design innovation by analyzing and comparison of the structure characteristics of the new door and the existing door.Secondly, the impact analysis of the preliminary design doors is done. Analyzing shock wave’s propagation law of mine gas explosion, then using AUTODYN software to simulate gas explosion, and to analyze the explosion impact stress of the door structure; simulating impact process of KJYF-96/8coal mine mobile refuge chamber hatch combined with ANSYS Workbench software. Analyze the doors’ stress and air tightness, and optimize the initial structure according to the data obtained, which lay the foundation for the design of new refuge chamber in the future.Lastly, thermal analysis is done to the cabin doors. Carries transient thermal analysis of ANSYS Workbench on operating handle mechanism which is the key heat transfer components of the cabin door, the temperature-time curve of the mechanism and temperature nephogram can be obtained, analyze the heat insulation performance of operating handle mechanism and improve the structural, which provides a theoretical basis for the research of capsule thermal protective performance.In this paper, the structural improvement design and the finite element analysis of refuge chamber doors, verified the reasonableness of the design of the new door structure. The research results have been successfully applied to KJYF-96mobile refuge chamber, it provides a basis for the design and development of the chamber’s protection structure, and also has a positive meaning to improve China’s coal mine safety hedge "six systems".
