Abstract/Summary:
With the development of modern science and technology and the market demands, the product structure is growing complexity, while machining accuracy requirements are getting higher and higher. During the important components such as the shell of aircraft engine blades in the aerospace industry, mold, car body production, the complex structure or surface parts account for a large percentage of modern manufacturing. The five-axis CNC machine tools have been developed rapidly and acquired wide market acceptance in recent years in order to meet the above requirements. Relative to the workpiece, tools can get more flexible position and orientation conversion, so only needs one fixture, it can complete all processing of the parts. Therefore, it greatly improves production efficiency. In addition, along with the development of computer simulation technology, simulation technology has been more widely used in the field of CNC machining. As the final verification process before the actual processing, CNC machining simulation aims to verify the correctness of the program, detect the various situations that may arise in the actual process, thus facilitating the scene processing personnel to process procedures, assisting the programmers to modify or edit procedures, strangles the hidden danger which may result in unnecessary economic losses in infancy.In this article, a classical Five-axis CNC machine tools with daul rotatary tables, Mikron UCP800is used to fullfill the machining simulation of complex surface parts. As the three important technology, the kinematics of five-axis CNC machine tools, the development of post processing as well as the programming of the typical complex surface parts have been studyed by details. The specific contents are as follows:(1) Analysis the structure and performance characteristics of three common five-axis CNC machine tools; Respectively solve the kinematics of these five-axis CNC machine tools based on the mathematical theory of object during space transforming.(2) By collecting the information of the machine tools and the configuration of the CNC system, develop the post-processor by UG/Post-Bulider and TCL language, architecturing the information bridge between NC programming system and CNC machining simulation system.(3)Select impeller as machining simulation object, and make the structural analysis and process planning, fulfilling the automatic NC programming based on UG/CAM and providing program source of machining simulation.(4) Create the Five-axis CNC machine tool motion simulation model based on VERICUT and configure the CNC system,and at last, complete the five-axis CNC machining simulation of the impeller.
