Smelting with fluorine would eroding lining and decreasing campaign of the furnace. The emission of dust and gas containing fluorine will seriously harm the operation environment and operater’s physical health, and would pollution the atmospheric, the soil and the water, will impacting the growing up of animals and plants. In recent years, the environmental policy limited of fluorine emission more and more strictly; and the cost is rising as the demands of fluorine is tremendous. All these is disadvantage of saving energy, reducing cost and protection environment. Some iron and steel enterprises were difficult to melting the slag of ladle fuenace, and the fluxing slag containing high fluorine. Acoording to the problems, through investigating the additive influence on low fluorine or without fluorine fluxing agent’s melting temperature and viscosity, main conclusion were drawn as follows:(1) Influence sequence of mass of4%additive to reducing the melting temperature of fluxing agent from big to small as follows:B2O3>Na2O>K2O>CaF2, and the capability about the same content additive in different slag to reduction melting temperature was different.(2) As the compositon of fluxing agent was w(CaO)=8.5%, w(MgO)=27.1%, w(Al2O3)=36.2%, w(SiO2)=19.8%, w(B2O3)=4.0%, w(CaF2)=4.5%, melting temperature increasing with w(Al2O3) increase between30%to40%, melting temperature decreasing with w(CaO+MgO)/w(SiO2+Al2O3) increase between0.5to0.8, so with low w(Al2O3) was benefit to decrease melting temperature, the suitable mass of B2O3and CaF2was approximately4%.(3) As the compositon of fluxing agent was w(CaO)=30.62%, w(MgO)=13.92%, w(Al2O3)=13.92%, w(SiO2)=34.34%, w(CaF2)=3.3%, w(B2O3)=3.9%, with B2O3institute for CaF2and Al2O3ruduction slag’s melting temperature was a way to solving the problem of fluorine eroding lining and the problem of high melting temperature and low melting speed when the slag with high Al2O3. Melting temperature decreasing with w(CaO)/w(Al2O3) increase between1to5, when w(CaO)Av(Al2O3) was3, there’s minimun temperature, when w(CaO)/w(Al2O3) more than2, there’s low temperature.(4) With appropriate components of diferent slag system as viscosity experiment plan, through considering the melting temperature and viscosity acquiring the optimal components of slag as follows:w(CaO)=40.23%, w(MgO)=9.22%, w(Al2O3)=9.22%, w(SiO2)=33.53%, w(B2O3)=3.9%, w(Na2O)=3.9%.
