| As the main process and consumption parts, the properties of rolls have great influence not only on the strip surface quality and roll gap forecast but also on production cost. At the same time, they play a decisive role on the stability of continuous production process.As the parts contacting the rolled piece directly, the wear of roll influences the strip surface quality directly and plays a decisive role on strip flatness. The wear of rolls leads to drift and increase the actual roll gap which affects the precision of AGC control. Because the roll is replaced frequently in the production line of rolling, its production costs and maintenance cost is higher, so roll wear directly cause the increase in costs.This paper is carried out on the background of GangLu1250mm hot strip rolling projects. This paper analysis and make research on the main affecting factors and roll wear mechanism.Under the the background of GangLu1250mm hot strip rolling projects, the main affecting factors and roll wear mechanism was researched. The main work is as follows:(1) From the friction and wear theory, this paper analysis the wear fundamental type, such as fatigue wear, adhesive wear, particle attrition, impact abrasion, etc. Combined with the basic concept and the actual wear the working conditions, analysis the failure and destroy form of the roll.(2) According to the actual conditions of work roll, this paper analyzes the characteristics and reasons of the roll wear contour; in addition, this paper puts forward the measures of extending the roll service life.(3) From the roll wear on the features of the profile, combined with the roll wear models of scholars put forward, considering the major factors such as rolling force, the length of contact arc, roll diameter, this paper establish a work roll wear model with more reasonable(4) Using Visual Studio2008software compiler a visual interface of roll wear model, it is easy to monitor the actual roll wear, and to facilitate the production management. |
