With respect to the independent PLC, PMC has the merits as more compact structure, more targeted, more suitable for CNC machine control.The subject relying on the Dalian Machine Tool Group, The control object is DTY series hydraulic cam turret, and the control core is FANUC CNC systems PMC, This paper will analyze the DTY series hydraulic cam turret mechanical structure and hydraulic principles, calculate the I/O points, allocate the I/O terminals, design the electrical control schematics and wiring diagram between the turret and PMC. Control program will be made by FANUC LADDER software. Most of the CNC machine control program used the linear sequential program, however used modular programming methods can make the program easier to understand and extend easier error correction. The diagnosis and treatment of common faults of the turret chapter introduces a method that uses the PMC ladder to diagnose the problem and apply it to the turret common fault diagnosis.The FANUC PMC is powerful and has adequate resources, the tool control system which made by it has the merits as simple structure, high efficiency and flexibility, FANUC CNC system is a common system of domestic middle level CNC machine tools at the same time, this method is more suitable for domestic middle level CNC machine tools industry.
