Decline analysis methods have widely applied in the reservoir engineering, which has avery important significance on reserve forecasting and formation parameters estimation. However, the existing decline analysis methods including the production data decline analysismethod in the single well and multiwell reservoir system, have not taken into account theinlfuence of water injection well on production data analysis. In this thesis, more attention has been focused on the analysis technique of production datain a multiwell reservoir system considering the influence of water injection well. On the basisof previous studies, the physical and mathematical model of a multiwell waterflood reservoirsystem is established. The model is based on the Darcy lfow. Besides, the correspondingBlasingame type curve is plotted with Matlab software. And ifnally gives the reservoirreserves the computational formula of the original fluid-in-place and related formationparameters. Finally the production data rfom an production well is analyzed and interpreted in the thesisusing Blasingame decline type curve. The results demonstrate that the production data analysismethod in multiwell reservoir system can obtain the equivalent results with the traditional welltest. In addition, the analysis method of production data does not need to shut the well. Thus itis much more comfortable with the intense production demands of oil ifeld.
