Thetechnology of Pipeline Leaking Detection and Locationison is an important guarantee for safe operation of pipe. Model which is an effective method of leaking detection and location, cancecurately simulate the pipeline operation, response characteristics of pipe flow, applicable to awider ange of leakage condition. The liquid leaking location technology based on the model, has been a certain degree of development, and has been applied to the actual testing. At present, the gas leaking detection and location methods based on themodel of gas pipeline use the model of liquid pipeline model, not considering the characteristics of gas itself to makes the gas pipeline leak detection at a lower positioning accuracy. Besides, friction coefficient15an important parameter in model, and its uneven distribution can impact the positioning accuraey of the pipeline leaking.Due process requriments different diameters,pipe diameter change also has certain influence on leake lacation. At present the majority of leak detection and location is on the straight pipe research,there are few research and discussion of the ups and downs along pipe leak diction and location.Based on the analysis of natural gas pipe line leaking detection and location, using the equation of steady-state, derived gas pipeline leakingloeation formula;and discussed the ups and downs pipline leaking detection and location formula; analyzing the impact to leak location of friction uneven distribution and change diameters, proposed the positioning compensation method of fiction uneven distribution and change diameters.Experimental results show that gas pipeline leaking loeation formula is effective in leak location;the improved model that contains the frictional coefficient distribution, can improve precision of the leak location.
