Molded pulp is made out of paper-pulp which is injected to mould pattern after fixing.The cushioning performance of molded pulp products is achieved by structural design. Everystyle of molded pulp products is one special pioneer product, the process of novelty includesdesign, mould, proof, test and revised before mass production, the mold structure design andmould development are the crux in the production of the pulp molding.The research of molded pulp design and production are formulated and the actuality ofthe inland factory are analysed in the text. On the base of that, a new design theory of mouldmother plate based on reverse engineering is introduced, then mould mother plate areprocessed by numerically-controlled machine, the design of vacuum filtering mould motherplate is improved; the material is industry producing gypsum, this method can receiveeconomy cost. By the analysis of vacuum filtering process of pulp-molding, a new method ofrapid proofing is introduced with tung oil sand mould instead of metal, reduces the period ofnew product invention and increases the manufacture efficiency.Through the experiment and the research, it has discovered the method of makingmaterial. The experiment investigates five factors: tung oil, bentonite, temperature and time,and the influence of the factors to the strength of the sand moulds. The optimized data andmethod were obtained by the orthogonal experiment. The turn of condition effected on thestrength of the sand mould followed by tung oil, bentonite, temperature, time. the optimalcombination of materials and technical condition:80~60mesh of the sand is100g, the qualityof tung oil is6g, the quality of bentonite is2g, the temperature is200℃, the time is25mins;60~40mesh of the sand is100g, the quality of tung oil is6g, the quality of bentonite is3g,the temperature is200℃, the time is25mins;40~20mesh of the sand is100g, the quality oftung oil is5g, the quality of bentonite is3g, the temperature is200℃, the time is25mins.The strength of sand mould sample was tested and compared with the pressure of theinner cavity of shaping mould, it was proved the strength of the tung oil sand mould couldsatisfy proofing need. The drainability of the tung oil sand mould was proved to be good by the vacuum filtration experiment. The tung oil sand mould was made by casting method thenthe proof was made, it demonstrated compared with the traditional proofing, the proofingcycle reduced half and the cost declined.
