To produce ultra-thin precision coating and solve the problem of the traditionalgravure coating such as fold and uneven coating, coating method was developed usingmicro gravure. A key link in the process of micro gravure coating technology lies in theaccurate control of the main factors influencing the coating thickness and get the defaultcoating thickness. Another key is precise controlling of coating uniformity and precisioncoating products. In this paper, the control of coating thickness and coating uniformitycontrol are analyzed. Theoretical basis is provided to improve the quality of micro gravurecoating.In order to control the coating thickness, this paper analyses the the main factors ofmicro gravure coating technology which can influence the coating thickness. Factorswhich can easy to adjust, such as the speed ratio, angle and blade pressure is chosen asexperimental factors, and the single factor experiment is taken. Though the experiment,we can draw the conclusion: the speed ratio has the greatest effect, main engine speedhas the middle effect, blade pressure and angle has little effect. The mathematical modelof speed ratio,thickness, the main engine speed and thickness is gotten through curvefitting method. And the model can guide industrial productionIn order to control of the uniformity of the coating, the paper analyzes the evaluationof coating uniformity, and known that coating weight and coating thickness is uneven andthe minimĪ¼m is in the middle position. Though vibration testing, we can known that theamplitude gravure roller is not same and the amplitude of two sides of the wall is not thesame. This can lead to different coating thickness on the two sides. Through the analysisof vibration influence coating uniformity using fluid software, the coating procedure in thestable state can get the uniform coating and fit production requirement. The coatingprocedure in the vibration state of liquid transfer can get irregular coating process andcoating results do not meet the production requirements. Through modal analysis ofcomplete machine using Ansys, we obtained the weak link of equipment and provide thetheoretical basis to avoid the resonance and reduce vibration. Through the vibration data and theory of coating, the wall was improved.Innovation point of this article is: the experimental method is adopted to micro gravurecoating unit coating characteristics research and mathematical model is made though theresults, and the model can guide industrial production; Efforts to improve the coatinguniformity are put forward though vibration analysis.
