My factory product AH110automatic horizontal milling and boring machine tool is an universal machine tool which has a high degree of automation. With the function point-to-point positioning of movement axis, the circulatoryfunction of drilling circular array holes, chipremoval, floating tapping and milling plane can be realized simply through pressing a button. The use of automation technology largely improves the machine tool processing efficiency.Combining the workbench unstable and feeding system problems of AH110automatic horizontal milling and boring machine appeared in the process of preliminary trial production; contrasting the layout and parameters of domestic and abroad horizontal boring machine tool; analyzing the factors of technicaladvancement, marketcompetitiveness and implementation feasibility, the practical optimization scheme is determined.This paper includes the following contents:The main drive was optimized by analyzing the main transmission part of AH110automatic horizontal milling and boring machine tool. The analysis and calculation of machine tool transmission system were completed, including The calculation of spindle speed and transmission ratio、The determination and choice of main motor power、The calculation of biggest hole diameter and drilling torque.For the workbench instability problems of AH110automatic horizontal milling and boring machine tool, Combining with horizontal milling and boring machine workbench clamping structure at home and abroad, fully considering the cost and so on various aspects of economic factors, And Use pro/e to establish3D model of rotary workbench, then the structure of workbench was determined finally through finite element analysis.This paper also through the theory of AH110machine tool drive failure analysis, summarized out the solution of machine tool transmission failure which was caused by load, transmission ratio, screw, clutch and motor. That provided a solid theoretical basis to improve machine tool product quality, which had a strong reference for the relevant industry. Meanwhile the comprehensive optimization of the machine tool structure improved the stability of the machine tool.
