Comprehensive evaluation of the coal seam mining geological conditions is a necessary prerequisite for safety and efficient production of coal mine work,is an important research topic of mining method and mining technology choice,and is exploring the merits of coal seam mining conditions and mining effect relationship between the two assisted decision-making and the effect on the mining method forecasts.Visible working face’s safe and efficient production determinants is to select the appropriate mining process,however, the mining process is complex systems controlled by many factors,such as management, technical and geological on certain conditions.The various factors to achieve the best match, would achieve better production results.Therefore, it is essential to study comprehensive evaluation of the coal seam mining geological conditions.Mining geological conditions and other factors,exposed in time of Luling coal mine construction and production,were statistical analysed to identify the main aspects of the coal seam extraction, including coal seam thickness, seam stability, seam structure, geological structure,stability of the roof and floor, gas geological conditions and the ground temperature and other factors. Iso-functional block-section index,consisted of area index,index of small structures, the angle index and the index of angle and strike coefficient of variation,is used to analyse the structural complexity of the geological block,and divide into a simple structure, relatively simpleconstruct,more complex structure and complex structure.Through refinement in seam thickness changes, the coefficient of variation of thickness of each block segment coal is calculated to obtain, further more,the degree of stability of the seam8is analyzed,and compilation into an information layer."Mining9th,put8th" taken full account of and the8-9interlamellar spacing put as partings processing, avoid the omission of important factors. Through the analysis of the the8coal roof and floor rock mechanical properties and the combined effect coefficient, evaluated the stability of the coal seam roof and floor, were divided into four levels.According to the gas content,mode of occurrence and the power potential size parameters,gas relative emission contour map and gas outburst hazard zoning map was drawn, that provide the basis for the difference analysis of gas geological conditions.Through GIS software,information layers of various factors gridded maps and attribute data visualization.Based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and fuzzy recognition theory, by means of GIS spatial analysis techniques, a multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is established to evaluate Luling Coal seam mining geological conditions.The value of comprehensive evaluation of the geological conditions Ⅰ≤0.3,is suitable for mechanized caving,the value of Ⅱ’s0.3~0.4, is suitable for mechanized mining,and the value of Ⅲ’s and Ⅳ’s0.4~0.5and>0.5, the comprehensive geological conditions is poor or not suitable for mining.
