Silver Separating Residue is left over copper anode mud residue in the extractionof the main ingredients such as copper, selenium, the hoof and precious metals gold, silver, platinum, palladium, which is complex composition, low and precious metalcontent, more difficult to deal with. With the increase in copper production of China, will produce more points with silver dross, separating silver slag contains largeamounts of heavy metals lead, if not properly handled will not only result in a wasteof resources, will have a serious impact on the natural environment and people’s lives.Silver Separating Residue also contains tin, antimony, bismuth, copper, gold, silverand other precious metals, which can be said that it is a very high grade of secondaryresources. Separating silver slag can be as the development of new energy tomaximize the extraction of valuable metals and precious metals recycling of resourcesand material production of valuable metals. In separating silver slag extractiontechnology dating back nearly50years of history, scholars devoted considerable timeand effort have carried out extensive research on the basic theory of separating silverdross metal extraction process, and made a series of research results. Sub-silvercomplex slag components, the low and precious metal content, each process is moreor less limited. Therefore, in order to reduce energy consumption and improve therecovery of rare metals, for relatively high advantage points silver slag in the preciousmetals silver content and the presence of morphological paper, theoretical analysisand practical research to choose the method of extraction and detection of metallicsilver content. The work of this paper is based on a sub-silver dross in metallic silverfor the study of the subject, using conventional fire assaying enrichment meltingseparating silver slag and METTLER TOLEDO T50automatic potentiometrictitration as a means committed to a simple, rapid detection points silver dross noblemetal in the silver content. Specific research contents are as follows:METTLER TOLEDO T50instrumental parameters optimized: add mode of thetitrant and the potential measuring mode selection, titrant minimum addition amountof the set, a pre-stirring time and stirring rate set, threshold value and the determination of the end point as well as other the optimization of the parameters. From a quantitative point of view, the gold method and the melting temperatureof the sample the cupels material and gold techniques conditions are studied to theimpact of fire assaying of the ingredients in the melting process.METTLER TOLEDO T50instrument titration samples process variables: thechoice of the concentration of titrant, the acidity of the solution and temperature, ethanol amount in an experiment, the influence of the volume of the solution and thecoexisting elements interference test. District sample of six determinations, eachmeasured element has good accuracy and precision, precision between0.038%to0.221%, and the recovery from95.83%to100.4%. A measurement result of Ag andpotassium thiocyanate titration results to control, the results are consistent.
