Organic molecules switch is an important part of the molecular devices. The structure of the Cavitand is similar to "flower".Three types of stimuli have been shown to induce the vase-to-kite transition in the quinoxaline-bridged Cavitands:changes in temperature,pH,and Znâ…¡ ion concentration. By switching the Cavitand between these two forms,it is not only possible to vary the distance between molecular objects,such as chromophores,but also to change its ability to complex guest molecules.The resorcin[4]arene Cavitands whose two relative groups were modified can be used of the research of "molecular switch".The two groups which were assembled on fullerene(acceptor) and porphyrin(donor) can achieve the electron transfer between the two groups, also we consider combining the crown ether with the Cavitand having extensive application in metal processing.This dissertation is focusing on the design and synthesis of new molecular switch. The main results are as follows:The resorcin [4] arene Cavitands were synthesized with heptanal and resorcinol, and characterized by1H NMR and13C NMR. Based on this, the iodo-compound was linked with the diCavitand; In this paper, we developed a route of synthesis of porphyrins via condensation reaction with dipyyroylmethane and aldehydes, following with metal coordination and meso substituted reaction.The final product can be the precursor of molecular switch compounds; We synthesized fullerene derivatives through1,3-dipolar addition reaction and the Sonogashira coupling reaction. The compound25whose end group is enthynyl can be connected with the molecular switch parent compound; Crown ether which is one of the host compound was modified, and get4,5-dibromo-benzo-18-crown-6. A series of connection attempts between the crown ether compounds with the resorcin [4] arene Cavitands were conducted.Finally,in the process of the synthesis of molecular switch precursor compounds,we got a crystl structure of a new compound.
