China is a country with the largest crude steel output in the whole world, the production of steel slag is about10%-12%wt%of the crude steel, and the total amount of steel slag is up to100million. The large amount of steel slag occupies a lot of areas and causes environmental problems.Steel slag has potential cementitious activity for the similar components with clinker, it’s a kind of potential resources, if it can be fully used, the environmental problems can be solved, and bring economic consequences. But steel slag itself has low activity,This paper focus on the activation of steel slag and high-volume steel slag cementitious system, the primary contents are as follows:(1)As the grinding time increased, the specific surface area increased from765m2/kg to1690m2/kg, the flexural strength and compressive strength increased too。 The grinding experiment shows that size distribution of steel slag has a great influence on the mechanical property,10~20μm is most important size fraction for the strengtho(2)The water-binder ratio, curing temperature, the content of steel slag and gypsum can affect the mechanical property of steel slag cement o When5%calcium chloride added in the cementitious system of70%steel slag, the28d flexural strength and compressive strength can be up to42.5cement standard,(3)The hydration mechanism of steel slag cementitious system has been studied, and the effect of various factors on the hydration degree.In this study, when the steel slag is activated by physical and chemical methods, it can increase the amount of steel slag, and also assures the strength。... |
