Research On The General Measuring Of Marine Ecological Carrying Capacity In Liaoning Province

The The marine ecosystem is a complex geographical complex and there are intricatelinkages between development and ecological environment of the coastal areas. Theformation of the coastal towns continue to influence and change the marine ecosystem, at thesame time, the coastal areas obtain great support in terms of resources and environment fromthe sea. The research on the current development status of China’s ecological environment incoastal areas and their resources and environmental problems, as well as marine ecologicalcarrying capacity is still rare. The coastal region has unique characteristics different from asingle region, such as the economic clusters and regional cooperation. The current researchesmainly focus on single element carrying capacity, such as water, land and atmosphere. Thecomprehensive research on multiple elements carrying capacity is not common. The study onmarine carrying capacity is instrumental in planning the economic development speed andscale of coastal regions. However, the present research findings are mostly quantitative ratherthan qualitative. Therefore, the systematic theory is in great need to conduct research onmarine ecological carrying capacity.The marine ecological carrying capacity is focused on one representative area in thecoastal regions, which is to discuss the ability of resources and environment to support thesustainable development of social and economic system under current economic andtechnological conditions. The sustainable development theory is regarded as the basic theoryto appraise the mechanism between nature and human society. The reasonable and appropriateconstruction of the evaluation indicator system and calculation model is critical to the marineecological carrying capacity research. Therefore, this paper conducts research on the marinecarrying capacity of Liaoning Province as follows:The first chapter is the introduction, which elaborates the research background,significance, content and innovative part of this paper.The second chapter summarizes the research content and methods concerning thecarrying capacity at home and abroad, the carrying capacity of resources, environmentalcarrying capacity, comprehensive carrying capacity of resources and the environment andmarine ecological carrying capacity. Then, the study center of marine ecological carryingcapacity if set forth. The third chapter delivers basic introduction to marine resources and marine economicdevelopment in Liaoning Province. Analysis of the marine industry in Liaoning Province andthe industrial structure characteristics of marine industry are given forth.The forth chapter, the central part of this paper, is the comprehensive measurement of themarine ecological carrying capacity of Liaoning Province. It builds the comprehensivemeasurement indicator system, the comprehensive calculation model and the comprehensiveevaluation method of marine ecological carrying capacity. Liaoning Province is taken as anexample to appraise its marine carrying capacity and its sustainable development status ofmarine industries is evaluated.The fifth chapter puts forward suggestions to improve marine ecological carryingcapacity in Liaoning Province.The sixth chapter is the conclusions and prospects.
