| Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) has been very widely used in the fields of packaging, such as all kinds of packing bags, drink bottles etc.. PET has characteristics of wide temperature, non-toxic, high strength, and transparency. PET also has some defects, such as compact structure, lack of hydrophilic groups, which lead to accumulation of electrostatic easily in use process. The defects cause many destructive consequences. Study on the crystallization kinetics of materials is an effective measure to guarantee better performance to the optimal conditions in industrial production, crystallization kinetics parameters of PET is an important basis for PET processing and use, the surface resistance is an important parameter in the practical application of PET materials; montmorillonite (MMT) and antistatic agents are common and important processing assistant in PET processing, here we begin to study the crystallization kinetics in MMT/PET material, modified MMT/PET materials, PET antistatic material and antistatic effect, use some common processing method for processing, We hope to find some relations and rules to guide the actual production activities.By means of SEM graph analysis of MMT, modified MMT, antistatic agent in PET dispersion effect. MMT in PET dispersion effects in general; modified MMT dispersion effect is good; The antistatic agent to cause poor MMT in PET dispersion effect. Antistatic agent for modified MMT dispersion effect is not obvious.PET surface resistivity measurement by high resistance meter, through comparison of different ratio of the surface of the antistatic agent of PET/MMT sample resistivity, MMT lowers a PET surface resistivity1-2orders of magnitude, but failed to achieve ideal surface resistance; Antistatic agent can reduce the PET surface resistance than four orders of magnitude, antistatic agent and MMT than to join the anti-static agent is added at the same time the PET sample surface resistance lower, MMT and antistatic agent in PET surface resistivity reduction with synergy. Because the MMT can improve the crystallinity of PET neat degree and structure, and promote the antistatic agent into play.In this paper, differential scanning calorimetry were used to investigate crystallization rate and crystallinity degree of different proportions of PET/MMT composites, and the Avrami equation was used to analysis quantitatively the results. The results showed that the MMT added in an amount to the highest degree of crystallinity of PET when the mass fraction of1.2%MMT; the MMT modified with silane coupling agent added in an amount of1.0%, the highest crystallinity of PET; antistatic agents will reduce the crystallinity of PET degrees. The values of k and the added amount of MMT showed the same variation, t1/2into the trend of shrinking.The crystallinity, crystal diameter of antistatic PET/MMT composites are measured with XRD. After adding MMT, PET composites crystallinity rise, crystalline diameter diminish, adding antistatic, PET composites crystallinity will decline, crystal diameter decrease. It suggested that MMT can offer PET crystallization nucleation particles, PET crystal quantity increased, grain refinement. Join anti-static agent affect the MMT dispersed and MMT provide nucleation particles affect on PET crystallization. |
