Export conveyor roller is an important equipment of continuous casting, its main role is totransport billet after been cut by flame cutting machine to the further rolling workshop. Theexport conveyor rollers often damaged in the process of transferring billet. This paper argues thatthe crash from slab to rollers caused the damage of high-speed pinion of speed reducer. In orderto improve the life of speed reducer, this paper launched the following research:(1) Determine the elastic modulus in the high-temperature state of the billet, to provide datasupport for slab finite element analysis. Figure out the linear relationship between the elasticmodulus and temperature change from850°C to1300°C, and fitting a linear equation.(2) According to the data of high temperature mechanical properties of the slab, the finiteelement analysis was made. Figure out the drooping of the billet and the value caused by thebillet. Obtained in accordance with the impact energy and fatigue stress roller to drive thereducer high-speed pinion, and then determine the fatigue stress of the high speed shaft of thepinion of the gear unit.(3) By calculating, the fatigue strength of the high-speed pinion of the reducer can not meetthe production needs. It is sure that the shock of the slab caused the damage of the reducer.(4) According to the research, the distance between the rollers was changed from1600mmto800mm by installing a special roller. After the change, the droop of the plate reduce obviously.With the condition of the value of the plate head under3mm, the special roller also can make thecasting produce no concussion to the original pinch roll.We re-calculate the critical fatigue stress of high-speed shaft pinion of the gearbox underthe condition of non-concussion and discover that the critical fatigue stress of shaft piniondropping obviously, however, its safety is still slightly less.(5)The research use the complex method to optimize the meshing parameters of reducer, theresult of calculation indicates that it is enough margin of safety for normal work by re-optimizethe reducer. According to the research, the thesis summarizes a set of calculation method ofbeam deformation under the condition of high temperature. The values detected in the actualfield show the set of method is of obvious meaning for reference. By optimizing the distance ofthe conveyor roller, it solves the collision problem with backup roll effectively whiletransporting billet. The paper uses complex method to optimize the reducer meshing parameters,it improves the carrying capability of reducer and solves the problem of reducer pinion gear teethfracture while no change in center distance and transmission ratio. |
