This general subject relies on a cooperative project of Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd."Technical Research in Water Classification of Utilization for Baosteel Stainless Steel Cause Department " The Department of Environmental Science, East China Normal has the complete responsibility for the project. The research would adopt the method of data statistics and field investigation to study the following aspects of contents:assessment for the impact of reused water on the membrane; assessment for water quality controlling system for reused water; assessment for solution of the reused water system; the solution for the chemical water plant; the risk and financial assessment for the chemical water system while take reused water and fresh water as the influent; feasibility analysis for the industrial water system mixed with reused water; the solution for how to mix the reused water with the industrial water in the network programs; and the adjustment for the water customers to adapt the new network programs.1.Division status assessment of water utilizationAccording to the2008chemial water plant#1of water data analysis, in February, June, September actual water consumption is higher than the theoretical maximum raw water usage. The reasons may be:1) filter operation, caused by the backwash water is less than the normal interval time between the use of anti-wash to increase water consumption.2) pretreatment equipment being run for a long time, so that the efficiency would decreased.3) Accumulation of pollutants in the reverse osmosis membrane, resulting in increased water concentration, so that the actual water production is below the theoretical water production.Overall, chemical water plants are in good run. Some of the water quality of desalination water, such as total iron, conductivity, total alkalinity did not meet the standards, but products of water is qualified for the customers.As for the soft water, overall compliance rate of iron is57%, but still meet water softening water aquaculture equipment. Result in some water samples did not meet the reverse osmosis membrane may be due to running after working long hours lead to instability; pretreatment unit is ineffective for iron removal.As for the pure water, pH values have a larger range, compliance rate for the conductivity is85%, compliance rate of the total hardness is70%. As the1,2-month run at the commissioning stage, the conductivity in the month of Jan. to Feb. water to meet the criteria, then all compliance, and stabilized. Although some indicators of water quality control station does not meet the standard, but still meet the water equipment.For taking pure water as the steam boiler plant, canteen and baths use. Submission data indicate that sensory indicators, general chemistry, toxicological and microbiological indicators indicators have all reached the drinking water health standards. According October2007to January2008the original monitoring data, water quality indicators in the measured concentration reached on water quality standards for industrial boilers, which demonstrates the use of security.As for economic and rationality, ironworks and steelworks control targets set are reasonable.2. Wastewater reuse system risk assessment(1) In general, wastewater reuse station run well, but for its lack of optimization, the suggustions are made as follows:1) Regulation processing unit pool①According to the incoming water and water quality characteristics, combined with small-scale experiments, to make sure optimal dosage of defoamers.②timely replacement of damaged equipment in Regulating pond aeration equipment maintenance area.③In the mixed area, additional hydraulic propulsion is suggusted to improve the sewage mixed state.2) Mixed Pond processing unitRegular inflow of sewage station is recommended to do coagulation beaker experiments, so as to determine the optimal coagulant dosage.3) Biofilter treatment unit To Invite biofilter equipment provider, re-commissioning the biological filter, so as to improve Ⅴ-filter characteristics and biological functions.(2) Proposed water quality control targets of the original back to modify the index were:pH, turbidity, suspended solids, CODcr, BOD5, oil, total hardness, iron, residual chlorine, total number of bacteria.(3) forecast water after the water grid mixed with reused waterIn2008, reused water and industrial water have been mixed in1#,2#chemical water plants, the new industrial average water consumption can be reduced by22%, the overall consumption can be reduced by about17%. If the grid project implementation, the overall efficiency can be more than15%.(4) risk assessment for reused water being used on the membrane systemAccording to medium scale test, comparative analysis of water quality of reused water by using water as a membrane system feed back, have the following several advantages:1) organic membrane can alleviate the problem of pollution;2) can alleviate the congestion problems that membrane physical pollution. Similarly, there are also negative effects:1) may increase the material consumption, shorten the normal life cycle of reverse osmosis membrane;2) the higher conductivity of the system may result in reduced recovery;3) back to the higher water temperature easily lead to algae, microbial breeding, resulting in membrane fouling block;4) a higher temperature will cause the reverse osmosis membrane flux increased, leading to increased production of water conductivity. Against possible risks, the corresponding countermeasures have been pointed.
