This article uses a negative thermal expansion properties of the material as a shankmaterial. For cylindrical turning fine condition, simultaneous analysis tool thermaldeformation, thermal deformation of the workpiece and the machine tool error, the useof negative thermal deformation compensation Arbor workpiece and the machine toolthermal error.Analysis of the reason why substannces expand when heated atomic kinetic energyinto atomic potential. Expansion coefficient material varies with the external factorschange, especially influenced by temperature. Expansion coefficient are often used forthe average expansion coefficient of a certain temperature range. The negative thermalexpansion material mechanical properties also cannot satisfy the need of engineering,assuming that material properties reach the performance level of tool steel negativethermal expansion, instead of the performance parameters of tool steel.In the analysis of the cutting tool and the workpiece heat transfer, it is consideredas a tool-dimensional steady-state heat conduction model surface heat conduction, andcalculating the prescribed conditions the maximum temperature of the tool. Comparedwith the empirical formula for the temperature to verify the correctness of the results.The machine to detect temperature changes, the use of gray correlation method toidentify temperature points and thermal error correlation, and multiple linear regressionmethod, machine error model, to get the machine thermal error range values.Instead of temperature distribution function with tool maximum temperature,thermal deformation of the tool, the workpiece deformation is obtained. Anddeformation, and the thermal machine thermal error associated, establish the ideal errorsize of workpiece, workpiece material expansion coefficient function relations amongthe three coefficient and tool material expansion, correctness of the results of the finiteelement software.
