Study On The Sources Of Haze Pollution Over Handan Area

In this study we pursued CMAQ modeling over Hebei and surrounding areas andanalyzed the regional contributions to the PM_2.5concentrations and light extinctioncoefficient. The results show that the largest contributor of PM_2.5is Hebei with thenumber of67.9%, followed by Shanxi （7.38%）, Henan （6.95%）, Shandong （5.48%） andBeijing-Tianjin （1.09%）. In the modeling period, the contributions to the light extinctioncoefficient are64.7%for Hebei,11.2%for Shanxi,3.5%for Shandong,4.8%for Henanand1.1%for Beijing-Tianjin.In each sector, industrial sources and residential combustion sources for hazepollution contributes maximum in Handan city, The PM_2.5of Handan mainly comesfrom industrial sources （35.9%） and residential combustion sources （36.3%）, in whichthe industrial source and residential combustion sources in Hebei province are26.5%and29.9%. The SO42-of Handan mainly comes from industrial sources （46.5%） andresidential combustion sources （10.2%）, in which the industrial source and residentialcombustion sources in Hebei province are37.4%and8.59%. The NO₃^-of Handanmainly comes from residential combustion sources （16.8%） and Traffic source （12.2%）,in which the residential combustion sources in Hebei province （9.71%） is the mainsource of pollutants. The NH4+of Handan mainly comes from industrial sources （26%）and residential combustion sources （12.7%）, in which the industrial source andresidential combustion sources in Hebei province are20.1%and9.1%. The OC ofHandan mainly comes from industrial sources （78.5%） and residential combustionsources （15.4%）, in which the industrial source and residential combustion sources inHebei province are10.4%and66.4%. The EC of Handan mainly comes from industrialsources （65.8%） and residential combustion sources （25%）, in which the industrialsource in Hebei province （17.4%） and residential combustion sources in Hebei province（55.1%） are the main source of pollutants.
