The dyes used in this topic are the typical mid-energy reactive dyes ofKiscozol series〠Huntsman and Dystar. The cotton fabric was dyed usingmicro-suspension pad dyeing craft. The contamination of Kiscozol series dye to theequipment in micro-suspension pad dyeing process of pure cotton fabric can beimproved by adding assistant GR-5to the dye formulation with GR-3.The reason of contamination, anti-contamination mechanism of GR-5, dyeingproperties and application properties of anti-contamination micro-suspension paddyeing have been studied in this paper. The contamination reason and theanti-contamination mechanism of GR-5were studied by the testing of particle sizeã€surface tensionã€absorbance,Contact angle. Dyeing properties of anti-contaminationmicro-suspension pad dyeing were studied by the testing of K/S value, colordifference and the color fastness, mechanical properties of the samples dyed withconventional pad dyeing craft, micro-suspension pad dyeing craft oranti-contamination micro-suspension pad dyeing craft and absorbance values, CODcrvalue post-processing wastewaterKiscozol series dye was used to make micro-suspension pad dyeing solution.Itwas found that when the dosage of GR-3reached a certain value, the contaminationhappened. And as the dosage of GR-3increased, degree of contamination increased.Because the adhesion between the dye particles and the equipment was strengthenedby the adding of GR-3.And the Interfacial energy of the surface of the dye particleswas improved by adding assistant GR-5to the solution. Thus the adhesion betweenthe dye particles and the equipment was weakened and the contamination of dyes tothe equipment was improved. In the validation of the dyeing properties ofanti-contamination micro-suspension pad dyeing solution, the dosage of GR-3andGR-5was first optimized. Then color difference of head and tailã€dye savings and thestained samples performance of the anti-contamination micro-suspension pad dyeingwere studied. Experimental results show that GR-5had the effect of contamination resistance. The anti-contamination micro-suspension pad dyeing performance was not affectedand the similar dyeing performance can be obtained. And K/S value of the samplesincreased. Thus the same K/S value and sample color fastness can be obtained usingless dye dosage compared with the traditional pad dyeing. At the same time theamount of dyes in post-processing wastewater was reduced and the absorbance andCODcr value of the washing wastewater was also reduced. As a result the burden onsewage treatment was reduced. Therefore the originally mature micro-suspensiondyeing performance was not affected by assistant GR-5and the similar dyeingperformance can be obtained. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Micro-suspension dyeing, anti-contamination, cotton fabric, reactivedyes, pad dyeing | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
