| Despite using the method of incineration for treating garbage has the advantages ofreductionã€volume reductionã€harmless and can achieve heat recycling and utilization, theproblem of secondary pollution generated in the incineration process can not be ingored,HCl(Hydrogen chloride,HCl) is not only a serious pollution as a major gas pollutants, butalso hazardous to human health. content of PVC in garbage continues to increase leading tothe increasing of concentration of HCl from incineration flue gas, so controlling theemission of HCl is particularly urgent. In this paper, we used ACF(Activated Carbon Fiber,ACF)as the adsorbate, theexperiments for removing HCl was carried out in a small fixed bed with s imulated flue gas.Firstly, we studied the removal mechanism of HCl adsorbed by ACF and the influence ofthe factors that specific surface area of ACFã€initial concentration of HClã€adsorptiontemperatureã€mass flow ratio W/Qã€water vaporã€O2ã€CO2to the adsorption.Secondly, tostudy the effect of SO2ã€NO to the adsorptionof HClby using the method of changing gascomponent and their order into the reactor. Lastly, to investigate the removal efficiency ofACF modified by heat treatment and soaking by different solution. The TPD curve showed that adsorption of HCl by ACF is only physical adsorption,XPS test results showed that COOH and C=O included in the surface oxygen groups ofACF can promote the adsorption of HCl; O2and CO2have no effects on the adsorption ofHCl;the increasing of adsorption temperature and HCl’s initial concentration are notconducive to the removal of HCl, while the efficience improved when mass flow ratioW/Qã€specific surface area increased;water vapor and SO2suppresses the adsorption ofHCl,while NO can promote its adsorption,TPD curves and functional group analysisshowed that–NO2generated during the adsorption of NO can react with HCl to form somekind of intermediate which is conducive to the adsorption of HCl; The research of modified ACF showed that:removal of HCl by ACF is greatly enhanced after soaking by HNO3solution and Cu(NO3)2solution, XPS test results showed that there were–NO2ã€â€“NO3onthe surface of ACF after modified, and the TPD curve shows they can react with HCl;because COOH and C=O decomposed during the process of heat treatment, the removalefficence of HCl by ACF decreased. |
