Mining dump truck, also known as rigid mining truck or mining truck. Mining dumptruck works on complex road conditions with big slopes and poor environment, there arehigher requirements for the safety of Mining dump truck. And the performance of brakesystem is the important index of vehicle safetyAccording to my company for the domestic and foreign brands of50tons (tones) ofmining dump truck product research, analyzed the functional requirement of the YTG50mining dump truck and the braking system requirements. through the comprehensive analysis,the YTG50mining dump truck adopts the way of full hydraulic caliper disc brakecontrol,designed a reasonable braking system schematic diagram. By analyzing andcalculating the front and rear wheels of the braking torque and the brake pressure of theYTG50mining dump truck, designed reasonable allocation of the front and back brake torqueto guaranteeing the good braking performance and braking stability. And the accumulatorvolume selection can guarantee the stability of braking pressure and security when power lost.By calculating the braking distance of YTG50mining dump truck when it drives no-load andfull load. Choosing reasonable brake pump and calculating the brake lining wearcharacteristics, and checking the brake torque of mining dump truck when it parking uphilland downhill. To make YTG50mining dump truck can meet the relevant national standardsand meet the requirements of the braking ability.According to the appearance structure of YTG50mining dump truck, making sure thesystem layout of brake system, then finishing the installation. Debugging all the parts of brakesystem, to make the system meet design requirement. Then testing the performance of brakingdistance, slope packing ability, working stress, braking capacity of accumulator andtemperature rising of the brake disc. By analyzing all the test data, confirming that theperformance index of braking distance, slope packing ability, working stress and brakingcapacity of accumulator achieve or above the indicators of national standards and designrequirements. But the temperature rising of brake disc is too high. By looking up some relateddata, found some possible causes, then analyzing and testing the braking system again, foundthe main cause of the brake disc overheating is that there is backpressure in brake system, leading to brake don’ drag fully. Finally, by reducing the back pressure from the principle ofthe braking system, calling off the three direct links between oil returning hole (T) of pilotoperated brake valve and oil returning hole (T1) of charging valve group. Then testing againand the effect meet the design requirements.YTG50mining dump truck was developed success in July2012, and went to mine forindustrial test in August, its excellent braking performance got the favor of test clients, nowthe truck has been on the market, has good engineering use value.
