Knitting sweater garment is showing towards to coats, fashion, branding, diversification and upscale direction development trend, unconventional fashion sweater increasingly was favored by the young people, sweater style design and process calculation has brought new challenges. And at present foreign sweater process design software, in the sweater process design and calculation, have more mature and intelligent, almost can satisfy all sweater design and calculation, and already have with computer flat knitting machine completely matching process design software, such as German Stoll company PULS M1pattern preparation system and Japan Shimaseiki company SDS-ONE garment design system, etc. But domestic sweater process design software, against unconventional sweater process design and calculation, and computer flat knitting machine matching process software development, is still not perfect and agile.In order to solve this problem, from the trend of the development of the sweater design, this paper starts to elaborate the situation of the domestic sweater process design software development, secondly, on the basis of the existing sweater process design software, the basic function of software process is illustrated, and points out the existing software deficiency and the future development direction. Then it introduces the sweater style design method and process calculation method, and points out the deficiency of process calculation of the existing process software process in unconventional sweater, thus puts forward the conception point.In order to solve the process calculation of the unconventional sweater style, this paper put the Bresham calculation method for basis, the grid simulation method is put forward, through the conversion between the crossbar density of the grid and the crossbar density of fabric, and the conversion between density the grid simulation method and process expression, using grid to simulate the coil to realize outline drawing lines of assemblies in the simulation, thus indirectly to calculate assemblies process expression. The paper also summarizes all the situation of the grid simulation and fill, when the straight line through the grid, and the widening process of traditional method and grid simulation calculation results were compared, shows the superiority of the method in straight line or curve approximation. According to the straight line segment and curve segment in the process of simulation, the corresponding mathematical model was established respectively, which in a curve segment of simulation process, first curve segment is divided into a few pieces of broken line segment by tangent to simulate curve segment approximately, then use the straight line segments simulation method for curve best approximation. At last, combined with grid simulation method principle and established mathematical model, using Visua Basic programming language, using object oriented modularized thoughts, establishing the system overall frame, developing a piece of sweater process parameter conversion software.Sweater process parameter conversion software is divided into three modules, which include style design module, grid simulation module, process display module, etc. In the style design module, conventional sweater style and unconventional sweater are designed respectively, using combined design method in conventional sweater, using drawing tools draw direct design method in unconventional sweater. In the grid simulation module, by the grid simulation method, converting the garment piece coil density into the grid crossbar density, a grid represents a coil, the garment contour is simulated and simulation results of all lines are obtained. In the process display module, simulation results of lines are converted into the widening process form, each line has different widening process form. Each module between primary and secondary is clear, relationship is clear, and guarantees the system coordination, stability and accuracy. Finally, this paper achievements related summary to the topic research, expanded the existing sweater craft design software of process parameters in the converted content, put forward the process parameters conversion research deficiency and the need for the future research work.
